Connecting over 50 million monthly users to 100,000 radio stations and millions of playlists, TuneIn understands the importance of great sound.
To create a sonic identity of their own, they asked us to develop a signature sound and strategic approach to composition.
We designed a central audio logo to mark all of TuneIn’s original content and owned radio stations. We designed the logo around a simple but recognizable melodic unit that is flexible enough to sit pleasingly alongside many kinds of music.
Then, we created a toolkit that included 50 variations, representing the vast range of genres TuneIn serves up.
We also worked with our team of composers to create three original brand soundtracks for TuneIn. These tracks have a positive, aspirational vibe and were designed to help drive home TuneIn’s brand values.
Finally, we designed a style guide that helps TuneIn consistently produce voice overs and design sound around their core sonic identity, helping them separate from the generic approach most radio services employ.
