JOB SUMMARY

Listen’s New York office is growing. We are looking for people to join us in producing and generating campaigns and experiences that go beyond traditional advertising at the intersection of music, culture, and technology. Our ideal candidate is a smart and creative self-starter and multi-tasker, who works well with others and brings a fresh approach to problem-solving and strategy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Serve as the primary relationship owner for all growing and potential client opportunities and lead company-wide marketing efforts. Deliver strategic work that tells a powerful story about Listen, our clients, and projects past and present. Support company Directors and lead day-to-day management of all aspects of business development and marketing, including client outreach and communication, creation of proposals, PR and brand marketing. Manage and coordinate all business objectives in accordance with established Listen processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

Business Development:

  • Oversee all aspects of active business development pipeline
  • Maintain sector focused outreach plan with custom collateral
  • Manage internal weekly meetings
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all potential or growing clients
  • Lead creation of all proposals, managing creative, strategy and production input as needed, and lead internal review process
  • Schedule and lead new client communications through RFI/ RFP process
  • Lead the creation and approval process of Client Service Agreements and scope of work documents with legal council(s)
  • Lead handoff from New Business to Accounts Team
  • Work proactively to generate new leads
  • Daily landscape and business research

Marketing:

  • Oversee and input into brand marketing plan and budget
  • Manage marketing tasks, such as social posting, newsletter, and events, coordinating inputs from staff as needed
  • Manage internal weekly meetings
  • Manage PR agency / efforts
  • Lead agency focused and project focused award submission process with input from relevant departments

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILL SET

  • 6+ years agency experience across progressive, youth skewed brands
  • Natural entrepreneur, keen to pursue relationships and new business
  • Passion for entertainment and new communication techniques
  • Methodical planning and documentation, process oriented
  • Demonstrated keen understanding of digital and social platforms and digital communication
  • Demonstrated understanding of brand and activation focused production
  • Demonstrated ability for storytelling to help build brand stories
  • Demonstrated understanding and management of workflows
  • Confident communicator with clients and Partners
  • Understanding of KPI setting and assessing ROI
