Program Director

Position reports to the Partners

Listen’s New York office is growing. We are looking for people to join us in producing and generating campaigns and experiences that go beyond traditional advertising at the intersection of music, culture, and technology. Our ideal candidate is a smart and creative self-starter and multi-tasker, who works well with others and brings a fresh approach to problem-solving and strategy.


Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of top tier clients. Deliver strategic work that creates a powerful connection between brands and their consumers. Support management and lead in all aspects of creative marketing campaigns including events, activations, and video content deliverables. Manage and coordinate senior level clients in accordance with established Partner needs and processes.


Client Services:

  • Maintain client communications on a daily basis
  • Work proactively to provide client marketing needs, continually working to deliver added value through diligence and clear communication
  • Receive client briefings with Partners, analyse deliverables alongside background knowledge and research to produce a brief and plan for the team
  • Create and collaborate on client presentations, including being a core part of the presentation team
  • Define and manage project scope
  • Ensure each campaign is delivered to the highest standard
  • Provide internal and third-party creative, production and interactive personnel with well documented asks, clear feedback and defined timelines
  • Ensure all strategies are clearly defined and understood by Partners before presenting to clients
  • Stay abreast of all client activities and programs across agencies, communicate this clearly and regularly to the Partners
  • Provide sign off on key documentation and deliverables before they go to clients, such as: budget, calendar, creative, deliverables
  • Maintain administration and ongoing reporting to clients as required
  • Compile insights and research supporting strategic development across accounts

Project Management:

  • Employ and execute agency protocol and processes for briefing, strategy, creative, planning, project management, delivery, reporting and closeout procedures
  • Work with internal team to create and present budgets for client approval
  • Manage, implement and monitor projects and budgets in a timely and efficient way, ensuring schedules and financials are tightly managed
  • Project management across the following areas:
    • Campaigns
    • Experiential
    • Campaigns
    • Events
    • Video Content
    • Vendors
    • Project Budgets


  • 10+ years agency experience across progressive, youth skewed brands
  • Natural entrepreneur, keen to pursue relationships and new business
  • Passion for entertainment and new communication techniques
  • Methodical planning and documentation, process oriented
  • Demonstrated keen understanding of digital and social platforms and digital communication
  • Key experiential campaign experience, with a strong background in project management
  • Demonstrated ability for storytelling to help build brand stories for client programs
  • Demonstrated understanding and management of creative assets
  • Confident communicator with clients and Partners
  • Understanding of the video production, licensing and contracting process from pitch to asset delivery
  • Understanding of KPI setting and assessing ROI
