We brought back the composer of our original Microsoft podcast musical toolkit to build a fresh suite of music cues that connect to the world of Sol LeWitt. We took the sound palette of the podcast and set it to fresh compositions inspired by LeWitt’s musical contemporaries, referencing the likes of Steve Reich, Philip Glass, and Alvin Lucier.

We collaborated with Dessane Lopez Cassell — an NYC-based curator, writer, and editor — to craft a narrative format rooted in conversation, allowing her to tease out personal reflections and bring listeners closer to LeWitt’s work and process with a cross-disciplinary stable of contributors: Daniel Humm, chef and owner of Eleven Madison Park; musician and composer Julianna Barwick; Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, co-designers of Proenza Schouler; and artist Charles Gaines, a celebrated Conceptual artist and LeWitt contemporary.
