As Skype has grown from stand-alone product to multidimensional brand, it was clear that there was rich potential for their current sound set to evolve.

Skype’s popularity made it crucial to keep brand sounds familiar while still ushering them into a new era.

First, we identified the core ingredients that make Skype unique and distinct. Then, we updated their sounds while maintaining these through lines.

Later, we even explored what Skype would sound like in the workplace with Skype for Business.
